Experience a grest trip and sail on Brigantine Florette from Malta to Sicily (Messina straits) to Calabria or return in the Autum....
You can in Malta enjoy extra two days and book Bed & Breakfast on the Florette. Florette is located very centrally in the marina of Malta (Ta’ Xbiex) with a view of Valletta. Only a few minutes away on foot, a small ferry goes regularly to Valletta. The central bus station is located there, from where you can reach every place in Malta.

We will raise the anchor and move towards Calabria. Our path goes through the busy street of Messina. The east coast of Sicily can be seen on one side and the coast of Italian mainland lies on the other hand. Possible stopovers (no guarantee!): Syracuse and Taormina (Mount Etna). The given stopovers are optional. The ship’s command reserves the right to change the travel route at short notice as per the wind and weather conditions.

This sail is suitable as proof of experience to collect nautical miles and to get an insight in nautical science.

We are looking forward to a good number of participants, since the wind patterns are often optimal for sailing in spring.
